You submitted a listing, what's next?

First, thank you for joining ChiLocal! Even before your business is approved, you can log in to your account and update your listing information, photos, tags, and more. We encourage you to log in every few months to keep your profile up to date. Follow the simple process outlined below to log in and make updates. 

1. Logging in to your account

After you create an account, you will receive an email with the subject line: [ChiLocal] Login Details. If you can’t find the email, check your spam folder. Click the link in the email to set your password.

2. Editing your listing

Once you’re logged in, go to your listing. You can find a link to your listing in another email,  ChiLocal – Your business has been submitted for approval. In your listing, click Edit in the top right corner to make any changes. You can make as many updates as you like.

3. Updating categories and tags

We recommend adding 1-2 categories to your store. Only add categories that apply to you. If you want to rank well in your searches, you should add as many tags as you can. See the table below for more information.

4. Adding more images to your listing

Add a nice horizontal image as your featured image. This is the first impression that you make to your potential customer. 

Add 8-10 images to your gallery. Once your customer visits your profile, they will want to learn more about your store and your products. Add a mix of photos to your profile that showcases your products in the best light.
